Call Type: Art for Group Show 

Eligibility: Artists Living In New Mexico 

Fee: None 

Entry Deadline: May 4th, 2024 ( Art Call Deadline Extended To May 6th Midnight)

Media: Photography, Painting, Drawing, Multimedia, Letterpress, Prints, Fiber Arts, or Sculpture that can hang securely on a Art Hanging Rail System

Submissions: Send digitally 

 

To be considered, please include:

• Name and email 

• Information about the art work including dimensions, medium, title, and suggested retail price (artist receives 50% if sold) 

• Short Bio (200 words or less) 

• Statement on how the work relates to said theme 

• Link to artist website/social media links 

• Up to 5 works will be considered. Submit 5 digital images of the work, suggested JPEGs or PNG files

All Art must be delivered to the curator by July 15th; details to follow.

 

Show Dates at Iconik July 20th, 2024 - November 1st, 2024

The theme of this show is a contemplative inquiry regarding that which is delightful. This show seeks to cultivate hope and celebrate the good things in life. We ask artists to submit their point of view to guide us in the subject of that which is beautiful and pleasing. That being said, all these things are in the eye of the beholder and therefore are broad and flexible. We encourage folks to think outside the box. Are you a poet but love to do handwritten poems? Are you a sculptor who takes photographs of your work? Do you make wreaths from your garden? Part of the theme of Delight is to allow for innovation and to see artists work in different parameters. 

All items must be able to be securely and safely hung from an Art Hanging Rail System. All works must be for sale and agreed upon that purchaser may take works with them before the end of the show or upon purchase after initial opening. 

Artists selected will receive a confirmation email on May 8th, 2024.
